Selecting paint color from the small paper chips found in the paint store color display racks are some help and thanks to small vials of actual paint colors, first released in 1995 by Belcaro Paint, are another tremendous help.
This year another aid to those in search of the right paint color may be found in you local Pottery Barn Store. Pottery Barn and Benjamin Moore Paints have collaborated to give you an even better idea of how a paint color will look in your space. Twenty-six of Benjamin Moore’s most beautiful colors have been used on the walls in the Pottery Barn stores to give you ideas on how to use paint color to work with other wonderful colors found in Pottery Barn’s furniture and accessories. Completely furnished and painted rooms show you eight different color pallets, each with four shades that coordinate or contrast beautifully with Pottery Barn’s textiles. The ideas you can get for redoing one of your problem rooms may just be found there.
At the time I am writing this article, Pottery Barn is also offering a $25 gift card to anyone who purchases four or more gallons of Benjamin Moore Regal interior paints no later than 11/15/06. Details may be obtained at either of our Belcaro Paint & Decorating stores. We also have the small vial samples of all of the paint colors you see at Pottery Barn for testing purposes in your own space.
If you have any paint related topics you would like to see discussed in this article, let me know, or come in either store with your questions. We enjoy helping folks with our specialty.
