Have you ever wished you could get caulk in a very specific color? Although there are several colors that caulk comes in, those colors are frequently not quite right. Now, at Belcaro Paint & Decorating Center, you may purchase as little as one tube of caulk, which you may make in any color that is available in paint.
A Denver company, Golden Sun, has developed this caulk named “ANY COLOR Sealant”. This product is easy for anyone to prepare and use. It comes as clear in the caulk tube with a separate reservoir inside the tube to hold one ounce of any latex paint. The package includes a syringe to inject the desired color of latex paint into the caulking tube. Then the special mixing nozzle is treaded onto the tube. As the caulk is expelled from the tube, the proper amount of colored paint is combined with the proper amount of clear caulk and the mixing nozzle blends the two products together so the resulting colored caulk is applied to a surface in a uniform color of your choosing.
Belcaro Paint’s 1-1/2 paint tester bottles are perfect for adding to the “ANY COLOR” caulk or you may simply add an ounce of the latex paint you are already using. This caulk comes in a satin smooth or in a textured or sand type finish, good for simulating tile grout.
This is another new product that can really save you time, as there is no need repaint the caulk after it dries.
