John Sez:

By John Harris, Belcaro Paint, Paint Chemist

Last weekend I spray painted some garden chairs for home. After using four spray cans of primer and six spray cans of finish coat, the tips of both of my index fingers were totally numb. Except for doing a very quick paint job I realized spray cans have not been the easiest method of applying paint. Now, a week later I have most of the feeling back in my finger tips.

Of course it would be a week after I finished this project that one of our sales representatives would come in to show me a better idea in paint spray cans design. I just want to be sure you know about this new design before you do any spray painting.

This is another brilliant concept from RUST-OLEUM, with which you may spray paint almost any surface; fiberglass, most metals (not bare galvanized), glass, plaster, laminate, vinyl, wood, plastic, concrete. It is for inside or outside projects, is flexible so less apt to chip and comes in 16 different colors. Sounds somewhat interesting, but wait.

The design of the spray can itself has three remarkable features. First, somehow the can will spray no matter at what angle it is held. Most spray cans must be held upright so the paint will come out, but this thing may be held up-side-down if necessary to get to difficult areas. The second impressive feature is a non-clogging spray tip. The third feature is what really sold me. When you grasp the can, each can has its own built-in two finger pistol grip, so when you shoot, the spray is activated. Ergonomic brilliance!

There really is a forth great feature to this product…There is no lid to struggle to remove before you can start spraying. The product is called RUST-OLEUM Universal All-Surface Spray Paint, now available at both our stores.

We would love to help with any of your painting or wallpapering project.
